Trio of Organizations Unite to Build Home for Needy Family

An unsafe, dilapidated home was bulldozed to the ground at 6 a.m. Friday, and just a few hours later, the foundation for a new home began on the same spot. Same address, brand-new home. After a week of quick-as-a-flash construction, three women — 51-year-old Tina Smith, with her mother and daughter — will move into the new home, courtesy of the first-ever collaboration among three organizations: Forsyth County's Department of Housing, Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County and Isenhour Homes.
